A German-built Bosch bike that's almost always on sale. Comfortable, heavy, dependable.

Bulls is huge in Germany and barely known here, which works in your favor: the Copperhead EVO AM 3 lists at $5,599 but US shops regularly sell it for well under $5K. For that you get Bosch's current CX motor, a 750 Wh battery and 150 mm at both ends.

It's the heaviest bike on this list, and it rides like it. This is a comfortable trail and touring bike, not a playful one. Reviewers have said it rides better than the spec sheet suggests, which matches what I'd expect from a Bosch bike with sensible geometry.

If you want Bosch reliability and you're patient enough to wait for a sale, it's a smart buy. Just don't expect it to feel light.

What I like
  • Current Bosch CX motor
  • Often heavily discounted
  • Comfortable, stable ride
What I don't
  • Heaviest bike here
  • Few US dealers

Long-term test pending. Bulls, if you'd like this one ridden and reviewed in full, let's talk.
