JAM² SL

A lot of range for a lightweight bike, with a motor that punches above its size.

The Fazua Ride 60 is a sleeper. It's light and compact, but it makes 60 Nm — more than TQ or Specialized SL — and the JAM² SL pairs it with a 430 Wh battery that's bigger than most bikes in this class.

It went further than a lot of the lightweight bikes in independent range testing this year, which makes it a great pick if you want light handling but hate thinking about battery.

Focus is a bigger name in Europe than here, so dealer support is the thing to check before you buy.

What I like
  • Good range for a light bike
  • More torque than most SL motors
  • Light carbon frame
What I don't
  • Fewer US dealers
  • Less known brand in the US

Long-term test pending. Focus, if you'd like this one ridden and reviewed in full, let's talk.
